The developers made so-and-so available even if they are hidden and players can use 'em if they knew the code. Any fighting game fan would say any legit playable character -even those using an in-game cheat or unlockable ones- would be counted as a playable character. doesnt the fact that you needed a cheat, any kind of cheat, still discount her from being a main playable character? Sake neko 22:13, Aug(UTC) Ahh i understand, but still. Short answer to both of these cheat examples: the game developers didn't want you to. They're not the cheat codes that allows you to "keep Aeris in your party after the first disc" or to "keep every recruitable character in Star Ocean 2". The first DW cheats are not a hacking or debugging tool that breaks the game's original coding is someway. Sun Shang Xiang's DW render on her page is taken from the game's actual databook, not a fan's render of her appearance within this game. It's something the company themselves created for fans to enjoy. Like the infamous Konami Command or the arcade codes to unlock secret characters in Marvel vs Capcom. As in, something the programmers included as a bonus for fans who were keen on spotting it. The cheat codes in the first DW are along the lines of an easter egg type of code. Perhaps cheat code means something different today, so I'll elaborate a bit. Gaining her first truly playable appearance in DW2. since in the original DW Game, SSX was a UNPC, only playable via cheat code. Normally it is listed when they are playable for the first time, since that is the case i am going to edit her page and put it as DW2. I notice a trend when it comes to a characters "First Appearance". kudos! -Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.197.58.97 ( talk I cleaned a while ago the best I could when saw this article,(compare the selected versions in history) it only had her 4th weapon and the short bio right out the game. I'll revise this page when I get back tonight, really needs a face lift and some more information that is clearly missing.
